By participating, you’ll help keep sneakers out of landfills while also putting shoes on the feet of less fortunate people across the world in places such as the Caribbean, Central America, South America, West Africa, and Europe. Your old sneakers will make a huge difference.
Secure the Call is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides free 911 emergency-only cell phone to Domestic Violence Centers, Senior Citizen Centers, Police and Sheriff departments. The phones we provide our “community partners” are in turn given back to the community and used to contact the Police in the case of an emergency.
Box Tops for Education™ is a leading program that helps support education and America's schools. For over 20 years, Box Tops for Education has given families an easy way to earn cash for their school, with products they already buy.
We collect pop tabs to support families with children in the hospital that stay at Ronald McDonald House or visit the Ronald McDonald Family Room. Collected pop tabs are recycled, generating much-needed funds to support the House and the nearly 1,100 families we serve each year. Funds received from the recycling of tabs typically add up to around $10,000 annually. All this money goes to the operating expenses of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Our troops take care of us back here in the USA by protecting us and our freedoms the least we can do is send support their way when they are deployed away from their family and friends! The mission of Operation Shoebox is to give support and lift the morale of our troops deployed outside the USA and away from their families and to also help them and their families financially by providing basic necessities for them while they are on deployment. Also to assist our troops in their humanitarian efforts by sending the supplies they need to accomplish their efforts. To provide wounded warrior bags to our troops that our wounded that will provide them with a change of clothing, hygiene and calling cards.
New Eyes for the Needy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1932 to improve the vision of the poor. New Eyes for the Needy purchases new prescription eyeglasses through a voucher program for children and adults in the United States who cannot afford glasses on their own. New Eyes accepts, recycles and distributes donated glasses for poor people overseas.
